Joshua Bassett unfolds his talent in Store VEGA
Emmy Award Winning Joshua Bassett is a talented musician, songwriter, actor and multi-instrumentalist. Bassett began his career with a number of leading roles in local stage productions in her hometown of Oceanside, California. As a musician, he started playing drums in church and taught himself to play the ukulele, guitar and piano. He wrote his first song at the age of 15. However, Bassett has been best known for his role as Ricky Bowen in the Disney original series, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, for which he won a Children's and Family Emmy Award.
In 2019, Bassett signed a deal with Warner Records, marking the start of his solo career. His debut single, "Common Sense," was released in 2020, and the following year, his self-titled debut EP was released with songs like "Feel Something" and "Crisis / Secret / Set Me Free." Bassett released two EPs in 2022: Sad Songs In A Hotel Room and Different, ahead of the release of the uplifting single "Just Love" in 2023. He then embarked on a sold-out global headline tour.
Bassett is currently preparing for the highly anticipated release of his debut album, The Golden Years, where the first single of the same name is out now. On this occasion, Bassett is going on tour again, where he will take in Store VEGA in October.
